Episode 19: [Case study] The messy middle of business growth and unraveling the myth of overnight success

Episode Description

Today’s case study looks at the less glamorous, messy middle of a business growth journey.

This client’s goal was to book out their 1:1 services, and that didn’t happen by the end of our time working together. And I want to break this down for you to provide perspective on what transformation in business actually looks like and to normalize the journey and unravel the myth of overnight success.

I’m taking you behind-the-scenes to talk about:

  • How I felt as the coach and how my client felt about them not hitting their goal during our time together

  • The ways I used strategy & wellbeing as lenses for pinpointing what this client really NEEDED to get ready for what they wanted to create

  • One way I structure my program to integrate learning and growth to help combat the “on to the next” pattern that high-achieving brains love to default into

  • The really common but sneaky mental fears that drain business owners who want to grow and expand

  • The difference between knowing what your problem is to solve and actually solving it

  • How I think about supporting my clients through resistance (and takeaways for my fellow coaches & service providers for how to support your clients effectively)

Most of the industry showcases the “before” and the “after” but I want to show you the “messy” middle and murky in-between stages of transformation to normalize what growth, expansion, and the business growth journey looks like for many entrepreneurs.

I hope this deeply serves you no matter what goal you’re currently working towards and gives you a new perspective to support you in reaching YOUR version of success long-term.
